Loading: The screws are loaded into a large hopper at the top of the machine.
Vibration: The hopper feeds screws onto the vibratory feeder, which is essentially a tray. This tray is attached to springs and vibrated by an electromagnet connected to an electric motor. The motor rotates an unbalanced mass, which generates vibratory motion.
Movement: The vibration causes the screws to move forward in a controlled and orderly manner along the feeder tray due to the slope and the direction of the vibrations.
Alignment: The purpose of the vibration is not only to move the screws but also to align them in a single file so they can be counted accurately. The vibratory feeder manages the flow of screws to ensure a steady stream of screws is fed to the next station.
